Welcome to the Gulfport Green Wave Youth Sport Association, where we empower young baseball players from all backgrounds to reach their full potential through sports.
The Gulfport Green Wave Youth Association has been fostering the growth and development of young athletes for over a decade. Our organization served youth ages 9–15 from Harrison, Jackson, Stone, and Pearl River Counties, Mississippi, providing them with opportunities to build skills and participate in high-level competitive sports. In 2023, we expanded our mission to support talented young baseball players who aspire to play on travel teams but face financial barriers. Many of these exceptional athletes come from neighborhoods where they are at risk of gang involvement and drug activity. By participating in travel sports, they spend weekends and summers in positive, structured environments, pursuing their passion for baseball.
Our Mission
The Gulfport Green Wave Youth Sport Association is committed to empowering at-risk and economically disadvantaged youth by providing them with the financial support, resources, and opportunities to participate in national-level sports programs. Through our all-volunteer efforts, we ensure that every child, regardless of their financial circumstances, can access high-quality training, necessary equipment, and the chance to compete and excel in sports. Our mission is to level the playing field, fostering personal growth, teamwork, and a brighter future for the youth in our community.

At the Gulfport Green Wave Youth Sport Association, we are dedicated to supporting talented young baseball players by providing essential resources like transportation, uniforms, and equipment. Our goal is to break financial barriers and enable at-risk youth to engage in national-level sports programs.

The Gulfport Green Wave Youth Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting at-risk and socioeconomically disadvantaged youth. Many of our players come from single-parent households or low-income families and would otherwise be unable to afford the costs associated with national-level sports programs. Our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to ensure these young athletes have access to uniforms, equipment, transportation, lodging, and tournament fees—removing financial obstacles that could hinder their success.
